Packing for your tropical vacation

Imagine this scenario. You've planned your tropical vacation, waited for months to finally be enjoying your time off, and suddenly you realized you've packed completely the wrong items…
Don't let this happen to you. Carefully consider the climate and topography of the place you'll be visiting. When travelling to a tropical location, be sure to take an extra bathing suit and a reserve pair of sunglasses. Buy sunscreen and mosquito repellent at home so you don't end up paying three times the price. Pack simply so that you aren't bogged down with so much luggage to carry and the potential to lose your stuff. (Remember, strangers don't care what you wear on your vacation.) Take a sweater for cool nights and leave those high heels and extra accessories at home — unless, of course, you're getting married.
